What is Chiropractic

What Is a Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a safe, drug free approach to health care. What truly differentiates chiropractors from other health care professions is they are the only profession specifically trained to correct misalignments of the bones and joints throughout the body. Chiropractors adjust the misaligned bones and allow it to return to its proper position. The adjustments allow the body to heal and the nervous system to function properly by removing any interference causing problems.

Our Techniques

We use a number of highly effective adjusting approaches to help improve posture, biomechanics and decrease nervous system interference. The most common techniques used by Dr. Bindl are Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, SOT, Graston and Impulse Technique (Instrument Adjusting). Dr. Bindl also performs soft tissue/muscle techniques to help the muscles relax and remove tension so the body can heal quicker. If you have been to a chiropractor before and prefer one technique over another, please let Dr. Bindl know. We want you to be as happy, comfortable and relaxed as possible during your visits.

Siatic Pain or Numbness

Sciatica is best described as pain radiating from the lower spine to your buttock, thigh, and sometimes calf muscle. Patients typically describe this painful condition as a sharp, burning, and stab-like feeling often accompanied by numbness and tingling. Spinal adjustments can remove nerve interference while assisting and restoring motion back into the affected joint which allows for increased mobility and proper function.
